Follow the Battle of Britain ‘as it happens’ with a blog from the RAF Museum. The Battle of Britain Pilot’s Blog is taken from the diary of a young pilot, John Bisdee, and will describe his combat sorties and his life off duty. The first hand account runs from July 10th to October 31st – the length of the Battle of Britain in 1940 – as John served with No.609 (West Riding) Squadron, Auxiliary Air Force.
And don’t miss our September 2010 issue – on sale August 27th – for more on the Battle of Britain’s seventieth anniversary.
